The Next Write Step

This book coaching option is for writers who are committed to making progress on their book through ongoing coaching at their own sustainable pace.
The Next Write Step is personalized for each writer. You will be able to work at your desired pace and schedule your next deadline (maximum of two months allowed between deadlines).
I will provide you with a plan of action each time, so that you never have to guess what to do next. You will submit your materials to me, and I will provide feedback, including inline comments.
For a deadline, you might submit exercises to build a stronger story foundation, outlines, manuscript pages, a synopsis, and/or a query letter. At the $300 level, you may submit up to 20 pages; at the $500 level, you may submit up to 40 pages. (Note: the total number of submitted pages may be less when the submission consists solely of exercises, outlines, queries, and synopses).
Service may be repeated as long as desired. The number of coaching deadlines for each writer varies, but writing an 80,000-word novel typically requires 16-20 rounds at the $300 level or 8-10 rounds at the $500 level, spread over 9-12 months.

A clear plan of action so you know exactly what to work on next
Inline comments on your submitted materials (outlines, prescribed exercises, manuscript pages, query letter, and/or synopsis) and a brief editorial letter to provide you with clear feedback on what’s working well and what needs more work
Supplemental exercises selected specifically for you to help you strengthen your story
One 50-minute private video call to discuss the feedback and answer questions you still have
